I am using the iWeb application that came with the iMac to create this page and upload it to my personal domain at terrischurter.com using my .mac account.

I was prompted to purchase terrischurter.com when a friend of mine informed me that the domain I owned at the time, terriblue.com, sounded like the homepage of a porn star.  I didn’t understand why, but he explained to me that it had to do with the “blue” reference,  as in “blue films”.  I’ve since discovered that anyone under the age of sixty doesn’t recognize the reference, so it probably wasn’t necessary to abandon terriblue.com.  Yet I knew that terrischurter.com could always accurately reflect who I was regardless of who I might become.  I snatched it up before one of the many people named Terri Schurter bought it.  I realized there was little real danger of that happening.  There are some advantages to having a name no one else in the universe has.  Although there is a guy named Terry Schurter who registered the tschurter.com domain.  He also totally messed up a google search for “Terri Schurter”.  No, I don’t mean “Terry Schurter.”

As of now this site is mostly a testimonial to the iMac since it happens to be my main obsession at the present time.
